What happens between shows

Most exhibit damage does not happen on the show floor. It happens in the months in between, in a corner of a warehouse nobody is responsible for, and it is discovered the week before the next show when the crate is opened and a panel is cracked or a light is missing.

Managed storage exists to remove that. Exhibits come back to labeled bays with crate IDs, get checked in against an inventory with photos and condition notes, and are inspected and kitted before they ship again. Graphic touch-ups, replacement prints and sourcing replacement parts happen during the gap rather than in the panic week.

Common questions

How is our exhibit stored between shows?

In clearly labeled bays with crate IDs in a climate-aware warehouse with organized racking, so a specific crate can be pulled without unpacking half the shelf to find it.

Is the exhibit inspected before it ships again?

Yes. Hardware, graphics, lights and spares are verified in a pre-show inspection, and the kit is assembled before it goes out, which is when a missing part is a phone call rather than a crisis on the show floor.

Can you ship straight from storage to the show?

Yes. Outbound scheduling and paperwork are handled from the warehouse, so the exhibit goes from storage to the show floor without a stop at your office, and comes back the same way with a post-show check-in and report.

Will we know what we actually own?

That is the point of asset management. Inventory lists with photos and condition notes mean you know what you have, what condition it is in and where it is, rather than finding out when the crate is opened.
